Job Description & Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the safe and uninterrupted operation of lifeguard services in all assigned areas
  • Check staff uniforms, equipment, and assigned duty stations at the beginning of each shift
  • Prepare and implement shift schedules, duty rosters, and break plans for the lifeguard team
  • Inspect first aid and lifeguard equipment and ensure that any deficiencies are resolved
  • Plan and monitor lifeguard training sessions, practices, and periodic drills
  • Manage the response process during emergencies or incidents and prepare the necessary reports and records
  • Control access to the sea/pool by taking safety precautions during dangerous weather or sea conditions
  • Support the lifeguard recruitment process and provide orientation and in-service training for new staff
  • Coordinate with relevant departments regarding guest requests
  • Work in compliance with Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK), Occupational Health and Safety regulations, quality management systems, and brand standards
  • Perform duties assigned by the supervisor in line with company rules and procedures

Qualifications:

  • At least a high school graduate; preferably a graduate of Physical Education and Sports departments of universities
  • Holds a valid Lifeguard Certificate approved by the Turkish Underwater Sports Federation (TSSF)
  • Holds a valid First Aid Certificate
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in the same or a similar position
  • Good command of English; preferably a second foreign language
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
  • Friendly and guest-oriented personality
  • Strong communication and listening skills
  • Clear and effective diction
  • Teamwork-oriented
  • Responsible, committed to the job, and self-motivated
